While Steppenwolf will be the main antagonist for Justice League, clues in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice hinted that Darkseid will be a factor in the DC Cinematic Universe sooner or later.
Many are anxious to see what Zack Snyder and company will do with the iconic villain, and thanks to a recent poll it seems that fans would love to see Jeff Bridges in the role. While the character will likely be comprised of more CGI than anything, he will still be based on mannerisms and movements from the actor, similar to how Josh Brolin's Thanos is coming together in Marvel's films.
Artist extraordinaire BossLogic put together what the leader of Apokolips might look like in the cinematic universe, and fans would probably be just fine if this was the direction the studio chose. The look is geared more after his current look in the comics, without some of the busyness of his New 52 outfit and a bit more complex than his classic costume.

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ciarán Hinds, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg.
Justice League hits theaters on November 11, 2017, while Logan lands in theaters on March 3, 2017.
