While Supergirl has been bringing the power of one of DC Comics' most popular superheroines to the small screen for the last couple of years, DC's biggest female hero of all, Wonder Woman, made her solo movie debut in June.

ComicBook.com caught up with the cast of Supergirl at Comic-Con International: San Diego and asked what they thought of the Wonder Woman. In unison, the entire cast summed their feelings up in a single word: "Awesome."

"I wish they had extended that whole opening sequence of lovely ladies in Olympus," said David Harewood (though we think he meant Themyscira). "I could have watched that film for over four hours. It was a great movie."

"[Gal Gadot] is the perfect woman for that role," Melissa Benoist added. "She just carries so much grace and sophistication and strength in every move."

"She is quite the 'gal,'" Harewood joked.

The Supergirl cast is hardly the only ones who thought Wonder Woman was "awesome." Wonder Woman has and 84.74 ComicBook.com Composite Score and a 4.29 out of 5 ComicBook.com User Rating, making it the fourth-highest ranked comic book movie of all time among ComicBook.com readers. Wonder Woman has also proven to have more box office staying power than any superhero movie in the past 15 years and is now the biggest movie of the summer season. Warner Bros. officially announced a sequel to Wonder Woman at Comic-Con International: San Diego. Fans won't have to wait that long for more of Gadot's Wonder Woman as she'll join the Justice League in November.

In Wonder Woman, before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that's raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.

Wonder Woman was directed by Patty Jenkins from a screenplay by Allan Heinberg, based on a story by Heinberg, Zack Snyder, and Jason Fuchs. Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Connie Nielsen, and Elena Anaya.

Wonder Woman is now playing in theaters.
