The Flash: Killer Frost Extended Trailer Released

The CW has released an extended trailer for "Killer Frost," next week's Kevin Smith-directed episode of The Flash.

Along with Supergirl, The Flash will be the only CW/DC series to air next week, with both Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow taking off for Thanksgiving in the U.S.

Smith, who directed last year's fan-favorite episode "The Runaway Dinosaur," will pick up plot threads from this week and last, as Caitlin Snow embraces her new powers and becomes Killer Frost. It also seems likely, given last night's episode and the official synopsis for November 29's "Invasion!," that Wally West will get powers during the episode as well.

Last night, a teaser for the episode was attached to the closing credits of The Flash, but as is almost always the case, The CW released a slightly longer version today.

"KEVIN SMITH DIRECTS; KILLER FROST EMERGES — Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) uses her powers to save Barry (Grant Gustin) but as her mother predicted, the effort unleashes her inner Killer Frost. Killer Frost goes on a rampage looking for Dr. Alchemy, kidnapping Julian (Tom Felton) and battling both The Flash and Vibe (Carlos Valdes). Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) have a heart to heart"

Kevin Smith directed the episode with story by Judalina Neira and teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg & Brooke Roberts.

The Flash airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. "Killer Frost" premieres on November 22.
