Bethesda Details Forthcoming Xbox One X Updates, Patches

With the Xbox One X set to hit retail tomorrow, a lot of companies are already hard at work preparing patches to make their first and third-party games look better than they ever have. With that, Bethesda has gotten a jump on the competition, with a new blog that breaks down all the changes that will be coming to some of its bigger titles for the holiday season, including The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.

Although dates for the updates haven't been given as of yet, they are expected soon, and will push the games to their technical limits, so they look absolutely fantastic on Xbox One X. They're detailed below:

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

Fallout 4

Skyrim Special Edition

Dishonored 2 & Dishonored: Death of the Outsider

The Evil Within 2

The Elder Scrolls Online

The company did note that both Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion would also be getting touch-ups for the Xbox One X, with those updates expected to arrive soon as well. Details weren't given on those.

There's no word if other Bethesda games like Doom and Prey would be seeing any sort of updates, but the games already look great in their own right, so they should look just as good on Microsoft's new system. We'll let you know if anything changes.

Wolfenstein II in 4K, though. We're drooling at the thought.

The Xbox One X arrives at retail tomorrow for $499.
