Destiny 2 went down for a couple of hours for scheduled maintenance on Monday to apply another update, and the notes for that patch are now available to detail everything that's different.

The maintenance period for the patch that's now ready to be downloaded allowed Bungie to take aim at a couple of different areas in need of some love that include problems with quest rewards and user interface issues. A rare but impactful memory leak issue was also resulting in crashes during matchmaking, but it looks like that issue has been resolved as well.

Among the changes that were listed in Bungie's patch notes, one change that isn't included in the update is the removal of the controversial imagery on a piece of armor that caused quite a stir when it was brought to Bungie's attention. A certain image found on a pair of gauntlets resembled a design that's recently been appropriated by groups that have ties to white supremacist organizations, and Bungie took the issue quite seriously. Referring to the similarities as a bit too close for comfort, they announced that they'd be removing the design from the game sometime this week.

That change was expected to take place during the scheduled maintenance, but it's not explicitly listed in the patch notes. Below are the changes that definitely shipped with the patch:
