Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Villains Trailer Highlights Sephiroth and More

A new trailer spot released earlier this week highlights the lunch day villains line-up for Square Enix's Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. The upcoming fighting game is yet another form the studio that pits some of its most popular heroes and villains against one another and ties it all up with a fun little storyline. Check out the trailer below:
Recent trailers have spotlighted heroic characters like Lightning, but this dark side highlight reel brings back some of our fan favorite baddies from the series, like Kefka, Garland, and Sephiroth. Director Takeo Kujiraoka spoke with 4Gamer today and explained what fans can expect from the game in 2018. "After the release of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, we are planning to implement updates for the arcade version and PlayStation 4 version at the same time. We will also be able to announce surprising characters, so please look forward to it."
Right now, the full roster of villains is as shown in the video: Garland, The Emperor, Cloud of Darkness, Golbez, Exdeath, Kefka, Sephiroth, Ultimecia, Kuja, Jecht, Kain, Ramza, and Ace. But, as expected, Kujiraoka's statements confirm upcoming additions to the game after its release through the use of downloadable content for the game. So, while the roster may be a little limited at the moment, there's still a good chance of your favorite character from the Final Fantasy saga showing up for battle. The game is being created by Square Enix in partnership with Team Ninja, and will include stages set in recognizable places from the franchise, like Eden, Besaid, and the Floating Continent. It looks like characters from even the smallest of mobile games are available on the list, so if you're a niche fan, there's still hope.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is set for release exclusively on Playstation 4 on January 30th, 2018.
