Injustice 2: Five Characters We Miss From The Original Injustice: Gods Among Us

Lobo

One of the best DLC characters to be introduced to Injustice (or, for that matter, any fighting game), Lobo is truly a one of a kind power character. Introduced as the last of the Czarnians, this guy has a way with his combat style, and also looks like a complete bad-ass when it comes to riding around on a motorcycle. For good measure, his Spin Cycle and Hook Charge were very effective moves, and when he loaded up nuclear shells into his shotgun, you know he meant business. Here's hoping he makes a comeback sooner rather than later. "Smile, dipstick!"

Martian Manhunter

Another DLC character that helped round out the roster rather well in the original Injustice game, Martian Manhunter was an ideal addition to the cast, mainly because of his awesome abilities. Serving as one of the last remaining Green Martians of the planet Ma'aleca'andra, he has plenty of moves that do him a great deal of credit, including the awesome Psyche Orb, the Alien Pillar, and, of course, the Phase Assault. Not to mention that his Super, the Son of Mars, which takes lethal teleporting to a whole new level. He could easily make a comeback, and we're hoping he does.

Raven

The Injustice 2 roster has a lot of female power to go around, including the sassy Harley Quinn, the capable Catwoman and the sheer power of both Cheetah and Poison Ivy. But we miss Raven, a key player in the game who serves very well with her demon/human hybrid capabilities. Her move list is the stuff of legend, whether you're unleashing on opponents with an Empty Void, or letting them have it with an Event Horizon once you enter into Raven's demon stance. Considering that a lot of Teen Titans are getting their mature due in Injustice 2 (like Cyborg and Robin), we can't help but feel Raven should be thrown in for good measure.

Solomon Grundy

We understand that we have plenty of powerhouse characters to choose from in Injustice 2, including Swamp Thing, who's an absolutely great addition to the team. But we miss ol' Grundy, if only because this undead brute kinda grew on us with the original Injustice. His move set is a tour-de-force for those looking to deliver powerful hits on opponents, like the Cleaver Spin (ouch) and the Walking Corpse headbutt attack (double ouch), not to mention the Grave Digger, which puts the term "graveyard beating" on a whole new level. We hope to see the big guy back in action soon. (Yes, we're speaking sympathetically – Grundy fans can understand.)

Zatanna

Finally, we have to give some love to our favorite magician (sorry, Penn and Teller), the astounding Zatanna. A member of the mystic tribe of sorcerers known as the Hidden Ones, she uses some great abilities when it comes to holding her own on in battle, whether she's unleashing her Erif Ssik (Fire Kiss) that will burn opponents up quickly, or the cool Eroms Dna Srorrim (Smoke and Mirrors), which creates duplicates that can throw an opponent off. Not to mention her Avrah KaDabra super, where she entombs her adversary into an Ankh-like prison and sends them crashing to the ground. If that's not magic, we don't know what is.
