Kingdom Hearts III Figurine Line Announced, Sora Coming This August

Square Enix has just announced a new line of figurines based on one of its most beloved game series: Kingdom Hearts. The "Bring Arts" line will debut this August with a fantastic 6.2" figurine of Sora, who at this point has entered into the pantheon of video game heroes that even non-fans of the series recognize instantly and relate to in one way or another. Check out how detailed and malleable this sucker is:

We have several more poses and action shots of the figure in the gallery below, which will give you a good idea of what you can expect when you get your own. Like most of the figurines that Square Enix releases, usually in partnership with Play Arts Kai, this Sora will come with a variety of accessories so you can pose him however you'd like. Not only will he come with multiple Keyblade variations, he'll also come with a wide range of hands and heads featuring various expressions and emotions. Of course, a figure stand will be included as well.

Since we're pretty sure that Kingdom Hearts III won't be showing up until mid-to-late 2018, this Sora figurine may just be the only Kingdom Hearts excitement you'll enjoy for the rest of the year, a random teaser trailer or two excepted. Square Enix has all but confirmed that it isn't planning to have Kingdom Hearts III or the first episode of the Final Fantasy VII Remake ready to launch until later on in 2018, despite our original hopes that we may see either of them by the end of this year for the holiday season. If you have a Kingdom Hearts fan in your family, or you just love someone who loves the game, this might be your go-to when it's time to hunt for stocking stuffers.

For all things Kingdom Hearts, stay tuned to WWG, and don't forget to check out the gallery below for more shots of this gorgeous new figurine.
