TT Games and Warner Bros. have released the official announcement trailer for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, and it's so much fun. At the end of the trailer you'll see a launch date of November 14, 2017; that'll be here before you know it. While the trailer definitely capitalizes on the recent Guardians of the Galaxy hype, starring Groot and Rocket primarily, we have fly-by and swing-by cameos from a bunch of our favorite heroes. See some action-packed screenshots in the gallery below. Check it out right here:

Update: Video has been temporarily removed due to request. We'll have it uploaded shortly as soon as we get the green light from Warner Bros.

"LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is an all-new, epic adventure and sequel to the smash hit, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. This original branching storyline, co-written by comic book veteran Kurt Busiek, transports players into a cosmic battle across a myriad of Marvel locations ripped from time and space into the incredible open hub world of Chronopolis. Packed with signature LEGO humor for fans of all ages, gamers will go head-to-head with the time-travelling Kang the Conqueror through Ancient Egypt, The Old West, Sakaar, New York City in 2099 and many other Marvel settings.

"LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be available starting November 14, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One , and PC. The game will be released for Nintendo Switch this holiday."

So there is some good news and some bad news here for Nintendo Switch owners. The good news is that LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be coming to Nintendo Switch along with all of the other current-gen consoles. We're expecting it to look and run great, too. LEGO City Undercover recently launched on all consoles, and TT Games was able to optimize wonderfully for the Switch; it even runs better than the Xbox One version some areas.

The bad news is that the Nintendo Switch version will be landing a bit later than the other two versions. You'll notice at the end of the official trailer summary above that it specifically mentions the PS4 and Xbox One versions releasing November 14, while the Nintendo Switch version will launch "this holiday." Mid-November is already hugging the holiday season, so we're betting the staggered release won't be too painful. We'll keep you updated as soon as we learn more.
