Mortal Kombat 1 Ermac Update Releases, Patch Notes Revealed

04/16/2024 11:42 am EDT

NetherRealm Studios is today releasing the next major update for Mortal Kombat 1, which will bring Ermac to the game as its latest fighter. As a whole, Ermac isn't available for all MK1 players starting today as he will instead only be live in "Early Access" for those who purchased the game's higher-end editions or its Season Pass. Even if you don't gain access to Ermac until his general release next week on April 23, today's patch still brings a ton of alterations to MK1 right now.

As a whole, this new update for Mortal Kombat 1 is one of the largest that has been released so far in 2024. NetherRealm has made a vast number of balance changes to just about every fighter on the MK1 roster and has also provided some platform-specific fixes as well. Beyond this, there are an array of bug fixes and other issues that have now been solved in the wake of this patch going live.
