New Star Wars: Battlefront II Gameplay Revealed

We love seeing Star Wars: Battlefront II's multiplayer in action – and since the beta hasn't launched yet (there's one eventually coming), the only thing we have to go on at the moment is new gameplay footage. Fortunately, we're very much covered in this regard.
A YouTube channel under the name MMA & Music has uploaded over sixteen minutes of gameplay footage from the recent multiplayer trial for Star Wars: Battlefront II, which was held over the weekend at the EA Play event in Hollywood, California. There, players were able to get their hands on characters in a 20 versus 20 fight in the city of Naboo, taking on enemy soldiers both inside and out.
The footage, which you can see above, runs in a beautiful 60 frames per second, even when you're in the midst of all your heavy strikes on opponents. (This is noticeably apparent with Darth Maul at the beginning of the footage, as he carves his lightsaber strikes into a nearby wall.)
While the footage can be dizzying at times (the player moves rather quickly throughout the demo), it's really something, showing you the level of detail that DICE is putting into the forthcoming sequel. Plus, you really get an idea of what characters are available in the game, between Darth Maul, Rey and others that will be available.
It's also incredible seeing how well the game looks, both running around inside through the walls of the Senate building, as well as its outskirts outside. The visuals look extraordinary, even with the smaller details, like the sparks coming off a wall after you hit it with a lightsaber. And we're definitely digging Rey's ability to look through walls for certain enemies, and using her Force abilities to subdue certain ones.
The footage is a lot of fun to watch, and it just gets us more and more excited about playing the finished product in a matter of a few months. We're just hoping that EA and DICE reveal more footage, this time from other maps, so we can see what kind of variety we're dealing with.
Star Wars: Battlefront II releases on November 17th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Origin PC.
