Rumor: PlayStation Plus Free Games for June Leaked

05/26/2017 10:16 am EDT

The PlayStation Plus free games on PS4 for the month of June may have leaked a little bit early from PlayStation's official Turkey Twitter account. Check it out:

So it would appear that, at least in Turkey, PlayStation 4 gamers can look forward to Killing Floor 2 and Life is Strange next month, which are two fantastic choices. This is a big win if we end up getting these games in North America. One of these games is fairly new, and it's a lot of crazy mindless fun. Seriously check out some Killing Floor 2 screens in the gallery below, this game is nuts. The other game is a bit dated, but it's an incredible narrative and one that not everyone has seen all the way through.

The tweet doesn't hint at, show, or state what the free games will be for PS3 or PlayStation Vita, and many of those games tend to be cross-platform meaning that you can play them on your PlayStation 4 as well. So there's a chance that we have even more PlayStation 4 games coming when the official announcement drops. Here's a little more about our (hopefully) soon to be announced games:

Killing Floor 2

"In Killing Floor 2 players descend into continental Europe where the outbreak caused by Horzine Biotech's failed experiment has quickly spread and gained unstoppable momentum, essentially paralyzing the European Union— Just one month after the conclusion of the events in the original Killing Floor, the specimen clones are everywhere and civilization is in disarray communications have failed, governments have collapsed, and military forces have been systematically eradicated. The people of Europe know survival and self-preservation too well and lucky survivors have gone into hiding."

Life is Strange

"Life is Strange is an award-winning and critically acclaimed episodic adventure game that allows the player to rewind time and affect the past, present and future. Follow the story of Max Caulfield, a photography senior who discovers she can rewind time while saving her best friend Chloe Price.
"The pair soon find themselves investigating the mysterious disappearance of fellow student Rachel Amber, uncovering a dark side to life in Arcadia Bay. Meanwhile, Max must quickly learn that changing the past can sometimes lead to a devastating future."

In case you missed the announcement, this is the perfect time to dive into Life is Strange since the dev team just announced that a sequel is in the works. It won't show up at E3, but it's coming. Read more on that here, and stay tuned to WWG for the official PS Plus reveal.
