A new art book called The Art of Prey is releasing soon to show some more artistic perspectives of the massive Talos I space station found in Prey, but a couple of pages have been previewed from the book to give players a sneak peek into the creations.

Developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, Prey is a game where players are stuck aboard a hostile space station called Talos I while they're being hunted by a mysterious and crafty alien species known as the Typhon. The Typhon can camouflage themselves occasionally to appear as everyday objects, a tactic that results in no part of the immense setting being safe.

Despite Talos I being so large, the entire game is still centered around the one location, so it had to look impressive in order to make the limited environment immersive. The Art of Prey shows some of the detail that went into creating Talos I and all of its many inner workings.

Published by Dark Horse Books, the book shows areas both inside and outside of Talos I, though you can't go too far outside of the station. Players must maneuver in the zero gravity space surrounding Talos I occasionally, but it's usually a hectic and dangerous experience, so being able to examine the exterior in the book without the threat of being attacked will probably be much more satisfying.

Another area that's previewed in the book is the Arboretum, a level that contrasts sharply with the futuristic, metallic interior that makes up the rest of the station. This area is filled with lush plants and scenic walkways with secretive areas nestled away where you can tell people went to relax before the Typhon broke loose and everything went downhill.

You can check out the gallery of the preview images included here to preview what all The Art of Prey will have in store for buyers. The book is currently available for preorder through a couple of outlets such as Amazon and the Bethesda Store, and the product is set to ship to buyers on June 27.
