The fall television season is creeping up, which means that many of our favorite shows are beginning production on new seasons. Ming-Na Wen, who plays Melinda May on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., informed fans that filming had started on the fourth show of the popular ABC show.
Last year, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. dealt with the growing Inhumans population, caused by people eating contaminated fish from the ocean, as well as a resurgent Hydra organization led by Grant Ward. After Director Phil Coulson killed Ward on an alien planet, an ancient Inhuman called Hive possessed Ward's body and nearly wiped humanity off the planet. Lincoln Campbell (Daisy/Skye's love interest) ended up sacrificing himself to kill Hive and save planet, leaving Daisy in a dark place and S.H.I.E.L.D. under unknown new leadership.
Details about Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s fourth season have been scant, although a recent SDCC promotion (shown above) have hinted that the show could add Ghost Rider to the cast this season. We'll probably learn more this weekend at SDCC.
