While the cast of Avengers: Infinity War continues to grow - with Tom Holland's Spider-Man most recently being added to the mix - many fan's eyes are on the character who essentially started it all, Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.).

With Iron Man being the first official MCU output almost a decade ago, the film's universe has only grown exponentially. And, as it turns out, so has the titular character himself.

In a recent Facebook live video - in which he revealed several secrets about the film - Downey was asked what has changed about his character since when he appeared in the first film.

"Well, I guess he's matured a little bit." Downey answered, going on to say that "I think what's changed is the universe around him honestly, if you think about it. There's so many offshoots now. Peter Parker's in the mix. The [Guardians of the Galaxy] are on fire."

With almost ten years of playing the Tony Stark under his belt, Downey has worn plenty of Iron Man suits across the films. When asked which of those suits he wishes he could take home with him, Downey instantly gave an answer. "I still fondly remember the Mark 42 from Iron Man 3."

Even though Downey has played Tony Stark for so long, if this Facebook video is any indication, he's still having a lot of fun being a part of the MCU.

Avengers: Infinity War is described by Marvel Studios as the culmination of everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Iron Man in 2008. The movie is filming now under directors Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The expansive confirmed cast includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bethany, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, and Josh Brolin as the villain Thanos. Avengers: Infinity War and its as-yet-untitled sequel are filming back-to-back for a May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019 release, respectively.
