Marvel's lucky lady, the mutant mercenary who goes by Domino, will join Deadpool for his next cinematic adventure in Deadpool 2.

While previous reports suggested Halt and Catch Fire star MacKenzie Davies was being considered for the role, the new shortlist reveals several more possible stars.

According to Collider, the shortlist to play Domino in Deadpool 2 includes Lizzy Caplan, Marry Elizabeth Winstead, Sienna Miller, Sofia Boutella, Stephanie Sigman, and Sylvia Hooks.

Caplan stars as Virginia Johnson in the Showtime series Masters of Sex. She's also known for starring roles in television series The Class, True Blood, and Party Down, and for her roles in films like Mean Girls, Cloverfield and Now You See Mee 2. Caplan has also appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Claire Weiss in the Marvel One-Shot Item 47.

Winstead is a veteran of the genre movie scene. She's appeared in such films as Final Destination 3, Black Christmas, Death Proof, The Thing, and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Winstead has also appeared in Live Free or Die Hard, and A Good Day to Die Hard, but is probably best known to comic book fans as Ramona Flowers in Edgar Wright's Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Most recently, she starred opposite John Goodman in 10 Cloverfield Lane and will be featured in Season 3 of Fargo on FX in 2017.

Sienna Miller played Baroness in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. More recently she portrayed Taya Ranae Kyle in American Sniper.

Sofia Boutella played henchwoman Gazelle in Kingsman: The Secret Service, and the alien warrior named Jaylah in Star Trek Beyond.

Sigman played Valerie Vélez in the first two seasons of Netflix crime drama Narcos, and played Estrella in James Bond flick SPECTRE.

Sylvia Hoeks is an actress and model who is featured in Dutch television series Overspel and has upcoming roles in The Lake and Blade Runner 2049.

Deadpool stars Ryan Reynolds as Marvel's "Merc with a Mouth," Wade Wilson. After years in development limbo, 20th Century Fox pushed forward with Deadpool after leaked test footage proved a hit with fans. The final product, directed by Tim Miller from a script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, proved to be an unexpected smash hit, earning $784 million worldwide, making it one of the highest grossing comic book movies of all time.

Deadpool 2 was quickly greenlit by Fox in light of the first film's success and announced by Deadpool himself in the first film's post-credits scene. Deadpool also teased that the sequel would include the time-travelling mutant called Cable, who is Deadpool's frequent partner in the Marvel Comics universe. Both Deadpool and Cable were created by artist Robert Liefeld.

Reynolds, Miller, Rheese, and Wernick will all return for Deadpool 2.
