Tragedy has struck Fox's Deadpool 2 as a stuntman was reportedly killed when a motorcycle stunt went horribly wrong. You can watch our report on the incident above, or read about it below.

TMZ reports that the motorcycle stunt rider was thrown into the air when her bike crashed through glass of a ground-floor studio around Shaw Tower, where the movie is currently shooting in Vancouver.

The identity of the stunt person is currently being withheld, but it's not hard to presume that it could be a double for new character Domino, who is played by Zazie Beetz in the film.

This incident with Deadpool 2 marks the latest in a string of recent high-profile accidents that have taken place on the sets of major productions. Earlier this summer The Walking Dead had to pause production on Season Eight after a stuntman fell to his death; more recently, Tom Cruise injured himself while filming a scene for Mission: Impossible 6.

An investigation of this Deadpool 2 motorcycle accident is said to already be underway.

Deadpool 2 is slated to be released in theaters on June 1, 2018.
