Exclusive Marvel Preview: Deadpool #12 Starring Deadpool 2099

Marvel Comics has provided ComicBook.com with an exclusive preview of Deadpooli #12, featuring Deadpool 2099.

Deadool 2099, real name Warda Wilson, is the daughter of present day Deadpool, Wade Wilson, and his succubus queen wife Shiklah. Warda made her first appearance in Deadpool #6, with her henchman, the Bobs. She also has her father locked up in chains while she tries to get him to reveal more information about her mother, but Wade has resisted so far.

In this issue, from writer Gerry Duggan and artist Scott Koblish, Deadpool 2099 must take battle Zenpool 2099! But who is Zenpool 2099?

We know that Zenpool is the alter ego that Wade turned into when he was inverted during the Avengers & X-Men: AXIS storyline. Could there be a connection?

Deadpool 2099 and the present day Deadpool will be alternating storylines in the core Deadpool ongoing title from Marvel Comics. The preview shows Warda returning to the Monster Metropolis that used to be her mother's kingdom. The Metropolis is now in ruins, but it houses a vault where Wade stores items he had collected from his years as Deadpool, including Magneto's helmet, Professor X's wheelchair, and a conspicuous looking giant penny. Warda notices something very important is missing, but what could it be?
