Exclusive Marvel Preview: Doctor Strange Annual #1

Marvel Comics has provided ComicBook.com with an exclusive preview of Doctor Strange Annual #1, from writers Kathryn Immonen and Robbie Thompson and artist Leonardo Romero.

In the main story, Doctor Strange is still recovering from his battle against the Empirikul, and the Sanctum Sanctorum is even still under repair. Now, suddenly and unexpectedly, Clea, Doctor Strange's former lover and a disciple who was previously leading a rebellion against Dormammu in the Dark Dimension, has returned. But why has she chosen now to walk back into Doctor Strange's life? The solicitation text certainly suggests that she brings trouble along with her.

Plus, Robbie Thompsons introduces Doctor Strange and the Sorcerers Supreme, a new group of powerful magic users. They include Doctor Strange, the Ancient One, Merlin, Isaac Newton, the Apace mystic called Kushala, and a pulp adventurer named Nina.
