Funko Unveils New Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Exclusives

Funko's latest Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 figures are ready to soar into your collection!

The vinyl company recently unveiled the newest pieces of their Vol. 2 line, which consists of three new Pop! figures.

One Walmart exclusive Pop! will feature a new mold of Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), showing off his Gear Shift shirt that normally is seen under his jacket. The Pop! is set to hit Walmart shelves in October.

A second Pop! figure shows Drax (Dave Bautista), holding Baby Groot in his arms. While fans might expect the pair to be modeled after their heartwarming encounter at the end of the film, both character appear ready to fight. This Pop! will be exclusive to FYE stores, and arrive in September.

And the third - and possibly the cutest - Pop! in the new wave features Baby Groot, armed with Rocket's bomb. The scene of Groot learning to not push the 'death button' has charmed audiences since Vol. 2's first trailers, making this Pop! figure a long time coming. This Groot Pop! will be exclusive to Toys R Us, and be available in early October.

If you're looking to add the full Guardians roster to your Pop! collection, Funko has already released plenty of figures within the film's line. Aside from the film's first wave of figures - which features many of the film's core characters - the company also made an Amazon exclusive 'Teen Groot' figure. Funko is even in the process of developing a Pop! figure of the franchise's writer and director, James Gunn.

There's no word yet on when Pop! figures of some of the film's other characters, like Yondu (Michael Rooker) and Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki) will be produced. But that hasn't stopped some fans from making their own figures inspired by the characters, including a rather awesome Yondu/Mary Poppins mashup.
