After just one weekend, Logan is on the way to becoming both the highest grossing R-rated film of all time as well being one of the most commercially successful movies set in Fox's X-Men Universe. Needless to say, talent recognizes talent and after Gunn saw the movie in theaters this weekend, he took to Twitter to praise directors James Mangold for his work on the movie.

The love was mutual — it wasn't too long before Mangold replied to the tweet, thanking Gunn for his kind words.

With Logan premiering this weekend, Mangold can finally take a sigh of relief and a few days off for rest & relaxation. Gunn, on the other hand, is busy getting Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 ready for its May debut.
