James Gunn, Zoe Saldana Investigate Gamora For Science

When it comes to James Gunn, the director has a long history with social media that continues to keep fans enthralled. Whether he goes to Twitter or Facebook, Gunn is known for sharing behind-the-scenes teasers and answering fan questions with a forward bluntness. And, now, it looks like Gunn has roped in Zoe Saldana in his social media crusade because science.

Over on Instagram, the director posted a photo of Saldana holding up what appears to be two fused grapes. The green fruits have prompted the actress to laugh, and you will find out why once you read the director's caption. You can read the photo's hilarious description below:

"In addition to making movies together, and doing ADR, like we just did, @zoesaldana & I are also ALWAYS IN THE PURSUIT OF SCIENCE. And that is why, when we found these grapes shaped just like Gamora's butt, we needed to share them with you. You're welcome."

Clearly, the duo's investigation of Gamora's butt is purely scientific. However, many fans are also paying close attention to another part of Gunn's note. It looks like Saldana is back to work on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 with her ADR work. Right now, it looks like the actress is just providing her vocal talents, so fans can continue to look forward to much-anticipated sequel.

New cast members include Pom Klementieff (Oldboy), Elizabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby, Everest), Chris Sullivan (The Knick, The Drop) and Kurt Russell (The Hateful Eight, The Thing).
