Marvel Reveals The Avengers Of 1,000,000 BC Teasers

The Marvel Universe is getting some shake-ups thanks to Marvel Legacy, including a hidden team of Avengers in the year 1,000,000 BC.

Marvel has released new teasers of the long forgotten group, building to a full team reveal. The teasers give fans their first look at 1,000,000 BC versions of the Black Panther, Iron Fist, the Phoenix, Starbrand, and Agamotto, the All Seeing. That last one is the same Agamotto mind you that powers the ancient artifact Doctor Strange so routinely uses.

Marvel's SVP and executive editor Tom Brevoort implies the secrets and reveals don't' stop with a forgotten Avengers squad.

"MARVEL LEGACY #1 isn't simply a history lesson. Rather, it's the starting gun to a bevy of mysteries, secrets, and revelations that will reverberate across the Marvel Universe in the weeks and months to come! No character, no franchise will be untouched by the game-changing events that play out across its pages. Jason and Esad pulled out all the stops to fat-pack this colossal issue with as much intrigue, action, surprise, mystery, shock, and adventure as possible!"

The rest of the team consists of Odin and Ghost Rider, who will most likely be getting their own teasers shortly.

Marvel is promising big things with Legacy, including a return to classic characters and big returns. Whether that occurs as a result of these original Avengers remains to be seen, but Marvel also pleased longtime fans with the announcement that books will get a return to legacy numbering.
