Over the weekend, Paul Rudd reunited with one of his biggest fans, one who made some awesome modifications to his wheelchair to make him look like his favorite superhero.

Twelve-year-old Reese Davis met up with Rudd on the red carpet for this year's Big Slick charity event in Kansas City where he impressed the actor with his movie-accurate Ant-Man costume and his wheelchair fashioned to look like a giant ant.

Rudd and Reese met last year when the youngster threw the first pitch at the Big Slick softball game, and they kept in touch.

"His dad would decorate wheelchairs for Halloween, and he was Ant-Man," Rudd said. "He converted his wheelchair into an ant. And the legs would move. And I mean this was like getting hired by Marvel. Truly it was really impressive. … I have his picture in my office as Ant-Man."

After showing off his hard work and chatting with Rudd at the red carpet event, Reese told the Kansas City Star "It made me feel pretty cool."

The wheelchair was fashioned to be Ant-Man's movie ally Ant-thony, whom the superhero rides when he's in shrunken form in the film.

"It took us about 50 hours to build," Reese's father Lon Davis said. "It's made out of PVC pipe and foam and all kinds of different materials … The Ant-Man helmet is actually made out of floor mats pieced together and painted."

Lon said the Big Slick event means a lot to his family, due to the support they've offered them and other people in similar situations.

Comedian Rob Riggle launched the event with the help of Rudd and Jason Sudeikis in 2010 and have since brought on Eric Stonestreet and David Koechner as hosts. All of them are from the Kansas City area and decided to start the event to benefit the Children's Mercy Cancer Center.
