POW! Entertainment Announces Stan Lee Box

There isn't a shortage of options for comics and toy fans to get exclusive stuff, but now those fans have another avenue that happens to be backed by a comics icon.

Stan Lee (along with Jack Kirby) has created some of the most iconic Marvel heroes and villains to ever grace the comics page, but his career has expanded beyond just Marvel's borders. Now his POW! Entertainment is getting into the monthly subscription box game with a new Stan Lee themed box, and it will include items from both of the big two companies.

It will include exclusive variants and toys from both Marvel and DC Comics and will ship to fans every eight weeks. Each box will have a particular theme, and the theme for the launch box will be "It's The Most Marvelous Time Of The Year". It will include items that represent the past, present, and future of Stan Lee and part of that box will include exclusive color and sketch variants for Champions #3 from fan favorite Humberto Ramos.

You can see in the gallery what other goodies future boxes might contain, including Marvel Select action figures, Captain America and other Q-Figs, DC Direct action figures, Funko POPs, and other assorted comics and books.

"I'm really thrilled to deliver a true Collector's Box of my favorite things every eight weeks to my treasured fans," says Stan Lee. "The Stan Lee Box will have a variety of premium quality products inside each box for all my True Believers."

You can view the artwork from the first Stan Lee box in the gallery, and each box will be priced at $49.99 for what is valued at $125 worth of items. You can also sign up for the year for a 10% discount, but either way you choose to go you'll need to lock in your order before December 14. The boxes are set to be delivered by December 23.
