New photos from the set of the upcoming Netflix series feature another look at the title character of The Punisher.

Twitter user Kültürpat provided the new photos of Frank Castle by way of Getty Images.

Jon Bernthal's portrayal of the Punisher was one of the best-received aspects of Daredevil's second season, positive enough that both Marvel and Netflix gave the green light to a new series featuring the character.

It is the first starring role for the character since the Lexi Alexander directed Punisher: War Zone released in 2008, starring Ray Stevenson.

In these photos, Bernthal's Frank Castle walks down a sidewalk with a bouquet of flowers with a morose look on his face. The Turkish translation of the tweets states that the character's beard is "gone."

Punisher is currently filming and no new synopsis for the series has been released.

Netflix is currently promoting the forthcoming Iron Fist series, premiering March 17th, followed by the Defenders team-up series which is set to arrive later this year.

A release date for Netflix' Punisher series has not yet been announced.
