Best Look Yet At Spider-Man's New Armor Suit

Spider-Man 2.0
This Tweet by @Marvel_Freshman is said to have originated on Tumblr, and was supposedly taken from the VFX company that designed the actual suit for Spider-Man: Homecoming. While we're still confirming the authenticity of the his image, it does, in fact, depict the suit seen at the end of Homecoming in much greater detail. Which we can discuss here.
The suit is pretty much like the Stark costume Peter Parker wore during most of Homecoming - albeit with a metallic/armored overlay, which obviously highlights Iron Man's influence in the design. The color scheme is the most conspicuous thing about it, as the red, silver, and blue color scheme makes this suit look like it could stand along with the Iron Patriot armor that Rhodey wore in Iron Man 3, and will likely be the biggest point of contention amongst die-hard fans.
As for the Marvel Comics inspirations for this suit? Here are a few educated guesses:
The Iron Spider
The most popular fan theory is that the new Spider-Man costume is none other than the infamous "Iron Spider" suit.
During the comic book version of Marvel's "Civil War" event, Tony Stark recruited Spider-Man to his side of "The Initiative," complete with revealing Peter's secret identity to the world, and giving him a new suit, based heavily on Iron Man armor tech.
Clearly, the crimson and gold design aesthetic from the comics is different than the suit we saw at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, but the technological aspects of the Iron Spider costume could easily be the same.
Stealth Suit
The stealth costume (or "Big Time Costume") came out of the "Big Time" storyline, and comes in several iterations.
The suit's main feature is its "camo mode," which allows Peter to be invisible from both audio and visual detection. It also has other features specific to defeating certain enemies (Hobgoblin), such as sonic attack defenses and metal-dissolving tracers.
Spider-Armor
There have been several versions of the Spider-Armor costume, which were used at various points when Spider-Man needed an upgrade.
Of all the versions of the armor, the MK III would be the most likely version to correlate with the costume Tony offers Peter at the end of Homecoming. The MK III is also known as "Anti-Sinister Six Armor," with features meant to counteract the various members of the Sinister Six villain team - who were teased in that Spider-Man: Homecoming mid-credits scene .
