Tom Hiddleston Teases Loki's Return In Thor: Ragnarok

Tom Hiddleston has returned to his role as Marvel's God of Mischief. The actor's first ever Instagram post is a photo of himself rocking out in costume and wig as Loki on the set of Thor: Ragnarok.

This will be Hiddleston's fourth time portraying Loki Laufeyson, having debuted in Thor, returned to menace Earth's mightiest heroes in Marvel's The Avengers, and reprising the role once more in Thor: The Dark World. His last outing ended with his brother, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), presuming Loki dead when in fact he had somehow replaced Odin as ruler of Agard, using a glamor to appear as the All-father.

Also appearing in Thor: Ragnarok is the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). The last time the Hulk met Loki was in The Avengers, most notably in the fan favorite "puny god" scene. Is Loki ready for a rematch?

Thor: Ragnarok is directed by Taika Waititi (What We Do in the Shadows, Hunt for the Wilderpeople) from a screenplay by Stephany Folsom, and stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Karl Urban as Skurge and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk.

Principal photography on Thor: Ragnarok began on July 4, 2016, at Village Roadshow Studios in Oxenford, Gold Coast, Queensland in Australia. Filming will also take place throughout Queensland, in Brisbane, and in Sydney, and is expected to continue through October 2016.
