Tom Holland Wants In On This Legendary Franchise

Even though Tom Holland is taking off as the new Spider-Man for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it seems that one legendary role isn't enough for the young actor.

A user on Reddit recently posted a picture of ShortList magazine, where Tom Holland was giving an interview. Much of the talk of this interview revolved around a comment where Holland noted that he got to punch Batman - referring to Spider-Man co-star Michael Keaton.

If you continue reading however, Holland makes a comment regarding another major franchise he'd like to star in.

In the middle coulmn, about halfway down, Holland expresses his interest in portraying James Bond at some point in the future. Check out his official quote:

"I actually want to brush up on my James Bond knowledge, because Sony release Spider-Man and Bond. I keep telling them I'm the next 007 - as a joke. But also as a kind of serious, 'C'mon guys, let's make this happen.' If I keep casually dropping it into interviews, it'll eventually happen."

There it is, plain as day - Tom Holland would love to play James Bond. The guy is actively planting seeds to make sure it happens at some point.

While the actor is probably too young at this point - and maybe a bit too busy - he would make a wonderful James Bond down the line. All of this experience he's getting with Spider-Man and Marvel will only help his case.

Well, once he hangs up the web, that is.
