Timed to coincide with Comic-Con International: San Diego, Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for March's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, the second film in their burgeoning cinematic universe. The trailer debuted in front of a capacity crowd at Hall H during their panel.
The film pits Henry Cavill's Superman against Ben Affleck's Batman, with the DC Universe – and Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman in particular – ostensibly caught in the middle.
"Today is a day for truth," the trailer ominously began. Much of the trailer is ominous, with things like, "Devils don't come from Hell beneath us, they come from the sky."
In Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice opens March 25, 2016. For other upcoming comic book movies, be sure to check out Comicbook.com's comic book movies release schedule.
