03/30/2016 01:59 pm EDT
The Power Rangers are coming back to the big screen, and today they've added one more piece to the puzzle, enlisting the talents of actor David Denman (13 Hours, The Office).
Denman is taking on the role of Sam Scott, father of the red ranger Jason Scott. The two happen to be butting heads over Jason's football career, but there isn't much else known about his role at this time. The rangers themselves will be played by RJ Cyler, Becky G, Gudi Lin, Naomi Scott, and Dacre Montgomery, alongside Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa.
Dean Israelite Burk will be directing the reboot, which is scheduled for March 24th of next year.
