EXCLUSIVE: Underworld: Blood Wars - Cosplay Spotlight

The Underworld franchise is known for its frenetic vampire vs lycan action, and while that is one of the reasons fans love the films, they really come for the death dealer herself Selene. The part has been played by Kate Beckinsale through the series, and what better way to celebrate Underworld: Blood Wars coming to Blu-ray than with a Selene inspired makeover.

It's even better when the volunteer is none than Linda Le, known better by her Cosplay name Vampy Bit Me. The talented cosplayer went under the makeup brush to become Selene, and it delivered some truly inspired results. As you can see in the exclusive clip, Vampy was game for all of it and delivered some fantastic photos to boot which you can view in the gallery. Armed with her bloody ax, it doesn't look good for whoever happens to be on the other side of that, but the good news is it's not you, so relax.

The Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD and digital releases feature the official UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS graphic novel, an animated rendering of the entire film. In addition, the Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD, DVD and digital releases of UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS include the featurettes: "Old New Blood," where fans receive an in-depth look at some of the returning characters as well as the new characters introduced in this film and; "The Evil Evolved", where fans hear from Lara Pulver, James Faulkner Daisy Head, Bradley James and Tobias Menzies about the evolution of their characters.

Two additional featurettes on the Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD and digital releases include "The Evolution of Selene," where fans can chronicle Selene's evolution into the deadliest of all Death Dealers and; "Building a Blood War" where director Anna Foerster, her creative team and producers explain what it takes to bring the cutting edge visual effects and the underworld aesthetic to life.

Underworld: Blood Wars follows Vampire death dealer, Selene (Kate Beckinsale), as she fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David (Theo James) and his father Thomas (Charles Dance), she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice.

The cast also features Tobias Menzies(Outlander), Lara Pulver (Sherlock), James Faulkner (Game of Thrones), Peter Andersson(The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), newcomer Clementine Nicholson, Bradley James (A&E's Damien) and Daisy Head (Fallen), and is directed by Anna Foerster.

Underworld: Blood Wars debuts on digital April 11 and 4K Ultra HD /Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray and DVD April 25 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
