Harrison Ford to People Posting Star Wars: The Force Awakens Spoilers: Stop That
12/17/2015 12:30 pm EST
Harrison Ford has a very simple, very direct message to so-called "fans" that are going around the internet posting spoilers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens: "Stop that."
Go ahead, spoiler-posters. Watch that Vine on repeat a few times. Let it sink in. Han Solo thinks you're jerks. Wayta go.
The actor's message comes after a flood of spoilers has hit all over the internet. Sadly, there will be people posting in the comments section of this very post doing this, thinking they're hilarious, and not sad, pathetic fools. The official "Star Wars Books" page actually temporarily shut down on facebook after people were using it to spread spoilers to the movie. There's a concerted effort by "fans" who are still angry that the Expanded Universe (now referred to as "Legends") was discarded in favor of starting the post-Return of the Jedi continuity fresh for the new film to spoil it for anyone who is instead excited that we're getting new movies, finally.
Han Solo doesn't think you're funny, or clever, or doing anything remotely cool, you Thrawn and Yuuzhan Vong addicts. Your books and comics and video games still exist and you can re-experience them any time you want. So, as Ford said, "Stop that."
