Jack Sparrow Met Han Solo At Disney D23

Over the weekend, Disney put on its own version of Comic Con called D23 Expo. The event was held at Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, and it featured surprise appearances by a number of celebrities tied to upcoming Disney movies.

During the Star Wars portion of the World, Galaxies, and Universes: Live Action at the Walt Disney Studios panel, Harrison Ford was one of the surprise guests. Ford is reprising his role as Han Solo in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

During the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales of the same panel, Johnny Depp was a surprise guest. Depp is reprising his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

Somewhere, backstage the two stars met, and in one magic moment, a Disney photographer captured Jack Sparrow giving a warm hello to Han Solo.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is scheduled to be released on December 18, 2015, and the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is scheduled to be released on July 7, 2017.
