Stormtroopers March Across The Golden Gate Bridge To Support Fight Against Cancer

The Golden Gate Garrison of the 501st Legion Stormtrooper cosplay group walked across the Golden Gate Bridge on Aug. 15 to help raise funds for the fight against cancer.
The fundraiser supports Kevin Michael Doyle, the man who walked 501 miles to Comic-Con while in costume as a Stormtrooper. Both marches were in memory of his late wife and fellow 501st legion member, who died of pancreatic cancer in 2012.
As seen in the video, over 50 Stormtroopers walked cross the bridge, with an imperial escort. The funds from the event will go towards Eileen's Angels, Doyle's non-profit organization that sends care packages to children battling cancer.
