Alice Through The Looking Glass Character Posters Released

New posters for Alice Through The Looking Glass were released online Wednesday. Moviefone posted the posters to twitter, and thanks to the time-travel theme of the film, the images are of different-aged versions of the characters from the first film.

The Tweedles are mere children, the Cheshire Cat is just a kitten, but Absolem isn't a younger form - he's an older version - no longer a caterpillar, now a butterfly/moth. Curiouser and curiouser, no?

Absolem, notably, is voiced by Alan Rickman, in what turns out to be his final film role after his death earlier this year.

Disney's Alice: Through the Looking Glass hits theaters May 27, 2016, going directly head-to-head with 20th Century Fox's X-Men: Apocalypse. Check out the full-size posters below.
