Beauty and the Beast Character Posters Offer New Looks at Full Cast

Disney's Beauty and the Beast is coming in less than two months, and new looks at every main character have been released today in both Motion and Still posters. The character posters give us our first real look at Dan Stevens in his Princely form, instead of as the Beast, finally gives us a clear look at Josh Gad's LeFou, the sidekick to Gaston, and much more.

"Here is your first look at the character posters, as well as the motion posters for Disney's Beauty and the Beast," the press release from Disney reads, "the live-action adaptation of the studio's animated classic, which include: Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast, Dan Stevens as the Prince, Luke Evans as Gaston, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Josh Gad as LeFou, Ewan McGregor as Lumière, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, Audra McDonald as Garderobe, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth and Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts."

This new live-action take on Beauty and the Beast, directed by Bill Condon, is the latest in a series of live-action reimaginings of Disney animated classics. The company has seen huge successes with the likes of Cinderella and The Jungle Book already, and have plans or production in place for others like Mulan, Aladdin, and The Lion King amongst others on the way.

stars Emma Watson as Belle; Dan Stevens as the Beast; Luke Evans as Gaston, the handsome, but shallow villager who woos Belle; Oscar winner Kevin Kline as Maurice, Belles eccentric, but lovable father; Josh Gad as Lefou, Gaston's long-suffering aide-de-camp; Golden Globe nominee Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, the candelabra; Oscar nominee Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza, the harpsichord; Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, the feather duster; six-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald as Madame Garderobe, the wardrobe; Oscar nominee Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, the mantel clock; and two-time Academy Award winner Emma Thompson as the teapot, Mrs. Potts. Disney's Beauty and the Beast hits theaters March 17, 2017.
