Netflix began as a DVD rental service, sending you the DVDs of your choice to keep as long as you wanted. The service became so successful, the company began streaming some of their catalog online, allowing users to immediately watch anything they wanted in their own home. Netflix continued to dominate the competition, developing original content that was available exclusively on their service. One of the Netflix's most successful shows, Bloodline, will be coming to an end on May 26.

Debuting in 2015, the series centers on a close-knit family of four adult siblings whose secrets and scars are revealed when their black sheep brother returns home.

The first season received much acclaim, specifically for the incredible performances by Kyle Chandler, Ben Mendelsohn, and Linda Cardellini. The second season wasn't quite as well received, drawing criticism for lack of dramatic narrative elements, despite continued compelling performances and cinematography.

As evidenced by the teaser above, fans can expect more twists and turns as the series winds to a close, promising an explosive end to the series.

Last September, Netflix announced that the upcoming third season would be the last one, allowing the show creators to plan an ending for the series. Not all TV series have the luxury of knowing ahead of time that they'll end, with cancellation decisions often coming in between seasons.

Here's hoping the last season of Bloodline is just as riveting as the previous two!
