Carrie Fisher, George Michael Get EW Tribute Covers

Entertainment Weekly has revealed two new tribute covers celebrating the lives of two pop culture icons who died in December.

One cover features Carrie Fisher, the Star Wars icon. The second feature pop singer George Michael.

The new issue of Entertainment Weekly will feature remembrances of Fisher and Michael, including an essay from her Star Wars co-star Mark Hamill.

"I loved her guts and she drove me crazy. We really were like a brother and sister," Hamill wrote.

The issue also examines the Hollywood legacy of Fisher's mother, Debbie Reynolds. The Singin' in the Rain star passed away just one day after her daughter.

Michael's friends and colleagues will also contribute to the issue, including Cindy Crawford and Aretha Franklin.

Michael was found dead at home on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2016. He was 53.

Fisher died on Dec. 27, 2016. She suffered a heart attack a few days early while on a transatlantic flight from London to Los Angeles. Her mother, Debbie Reynolds, 84, died the following day, Dec. 28, after suffering a severe stroke. Reynolds and Fisher will have a joint funeral and be buried together.
