Colony Season 2 Trailer Teases Answers, Action, And Aliens

USA has released a new trailer for the upcoming second season of Colony.

Colony's first season saw an explosive ending surrounded by question marks. Throughout its run, Josh Holloway's Will Bowman was manipulated into working for the Proxy Snyder and his team which works to appease the occupation. It wasn't that easy, though. Will's wife Katie was working with the rebellion to fight to government's control against his knowledge, providing insider info to her alliance.

Season 2 will see the aftermath of Katie's attempted seizing one of their hosts in transit created intense tension heading into the season finale. New characters will be introduced as the adventures of our current bunch continue to play out.

The new season promises to offer a lot of answers right off the bat and, based on this new trailer, provide a new look at the aliens occupying Los Angeles and presumably the rest of the world.

Colony returns for Season 2 when mysterious intruders are still in control of a near-future Los Angeles. In an effort to get their son back, Will (Josh Holloway, LOST) has been cooperating with the Collaborators and now knows about his wife Katie's (Sarah Wayne Callies, The Walking Dead) alliance with the Resistance. With her secret out, and now finding themselves on opposite sides of the battle, have they jeopardized any hope reuniting their family?

From executive producers Carlton Cuse (LOST) and Ryan Condal (Hercules), Colony is a co-production between Legendary Television and Universal Cable Productions.

Colony returns on January 12 at 10 p.m. ET on USA.
