Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them Deleted Scene Reveals The Runespoor

Warner Bros. has released a new deleted scene from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The deleted scene shows Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) tending to several of his beasts, including one that was cut from the film's theatrical release, the Runespoor.
Runespoor's are mentioned in the book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a text used by Harry Potter and his classmates during their time at Hogwarts. Runespoor's are 7-foot-long three-headed snakes native to Burkina Faro in Africa. They tend to be associated with Dark Wizards and communicate with Parselmouths. Due to their large size, the Ministry of Magic had to enchant the forests they inhabit to be Unspottable.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is the first in a planned series of films that take place prior to the events of the Harry Potter series. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them follows Newt as he travels to New York City in the 1920s.
Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them is Rowling's screenwriting debut. The film is directed by Harry Potter veteran David Yates and stars Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Samantha Morton, Jon Voight, Carmen Ejogo, Ron Perlman and Colin Farrell.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them releases on Digital HD on March 8 and on Blu-ray on March 28.
