Game Of Thrones Hardhome VFX Breakdown Released

One of the most talked about scenes in Game of Thrones Season 5 was the epic battle of Hardhome, between the undead forces of the White Walkers and the combined might of the Wildlings and Night's Watch.

Such an epic battle scene doesn't happen without a little help from some digital movie magic. El Ranchito Imagen Digital, the studio that helped HBO create the scene, has released a video onto Vimeo that shows the process of constructed the conflict.

In the video above, you can see just how much effort and attention to detail was needed to blend the scene's digitial and practical effects.

Game of Thrones will return for Season 6 on HBO in 2016.
