Living Dead Dolls Unveils New Beetlejuice Figurine

This November, Beetlejuice returns to (specialty store) toy shelves.

Entertainment Earth has revealed that Living Dead Dolls will release a special new Beetlejuice toy, based on a scene from late in the movie when the character transformed himself into...

...well, really, it's better to just look at it, which you can do above and below.

Titled "Showtime Beetlejuice," the figure features the character's iconic face and clothing, with a head that's covered by a merry-go-round and two giant mallets for hands.

Beetlejuice, "the ghost with the most" is back and ready to bring his unique blend of horrific hilarity to your home. Tim Burton's Academy Award winning film Beetlejuice not only introduced the title character, but forever branded his garishly colored, surrealistic antics into the collective minds of moviegoers. In one of the film's most memorable scenes, Beetlejuice transforms into a highly stylized nightmare carousel. As a hellish band of bizarre creatures encircle his head, his arms transmogrify into mallets. Now, Mezco captures that moment with the Living Dead Dolls Showtime Beetlejuice Doll! Dressed in his trademark black and white striped suit, he wears a phantasmagoric carousel headdress. The suit features elongated sleeves that can be unfurled just as they did in the film. Once the sleeves are elongated, the included mallet heads can be attached to the ends to perfectly replicate Beetlejuice's appearance in the unforgettable scene. The Living Dead Dolls Showtime Beetlejuice Doll comes packaged in a collector friendly window box so he can be displayed with out having to say his name three times. He stands 10-Inches tall (without headdress) and features 5 points of articulation.

A Beetlejuice sequel is reportedly in development, with Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder expected to reprise their roles from the original. It seems unlikely that Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin would return to play their roles again, since being ghosts it might be difficult to explain their aging, but never say never. Burton has been cagey about how close to being a reality the film actually is, anyway.
