New Game Of Thrones Set Video Possibly Shows Return Of Dead Character

A new video taken from the set of Game of Thrones has appeared on Facebook.

SPOILERS ARE COMING

The video comes from the set where Game of Thrones is filming the highly anticipated flashback to the battle at the Tower of Joy.

What you're likely seeing in that video is a fight between young Ned Stark and Ser Arthur Dayne, one of the best fighters Westeros has ever seen. The man who gets involved towards the end is likely Ned's friend Howland Reed, father of Jojen and Meera Reed. Ned later tells the tale of how Dayne was the finest fighter he'd ever seen, and Dayne would have killed him if Reed hadn't stepped in, which is likely exactly what's transpiring in the video.

Richard Atkinson, the man who took the video, seems to think that's Sean Bean reprising his role from Season 1. Bean has previously denied being involved with Season 6. While he could be lying, previous casting calls seemed to suggest a younger actor was being cast for the flashback, rather than trying to have 5-years-older Sean Bean try to play 15-years-younger Ned Stark.

Game of Thrones Season 6 will air on HBO in 2016.
