Ocean's 8 First Look Image Features Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway and Rihanna

Ocean's 8 is the spinoff of the popular Ocean's 11 franchise - only this team of top-notch thieves is comprised of all ladies. It's quite a collection of ladies, too, as you can see in the first look image from the film in our photo gallery above, provided by Rihanna.

From foreground to the background you have Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter and Awkwafina, bringing together quite an eclectic collection of big talent for Hunger Games director Gary Ross to work with.

A new Synopsis for the film provided by THR also reveals many other character details:

"The tide will turn as Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) attempts to pull off the heist of the century at New York City's star-studded annual Met Gala. Her first stop is to assemble the perfect crew: Lou (Cate Blanchett); Nine Ball (Rihanna); Amita (Mindy Kaling); Constance (Awkwafina); Rose (Helena Bonham Carter); Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway); and Tammy (Sarah Paulson)."

Ocean's 8 will be in theaters on June 8, 2018.
