Passengers Clip: Jennifer Lawrence And Chris Pratt Suck the Air out of the Room

The big science fiction event of December to most is Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but the Morten Tyldum directed Passengers is really starting to make a bid for that crown.

The film certainly has some star power in the marquee with both Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Jennifer Lawrence (X-Men: Apocalypse) starring in the film, but the ship they're stranded on has taken center stage in the early trailers and clips so far (via Huffington Post).

In the newest clip, the duo opens a door to one of the ship's rooms, sucking Lawrence into the room. A hole in the floor of the room has caused it to lose pressure and essentially turns it into a small airlock. Lawrence is holding on for her life while Pratt attempts to keep the door open, spotting a console in the corner. He kicks it over to Lawrence, who will try and use it to plug the hole.

Coupled with the stunning gravity pool sequence, the film has delivered some amazing visuals, and you can watch the newest clip in the video above.

Passengers is directed by Morten Tyldum and stars Jennifer Lawrence (Aurora Lane), Chris Pratt (James Preston), Michael Sheen (Arthur), Andy Garcia, Laurence Fishburne (Gus Mancuso), Kimberly Battista (Jr Officer Fitzgerald), and Aurora Perrineau (Celeste).

Passengers hits theaters on December 21.
