Universal announced Friday that its previously untitled event film scheduled for 2018 is going to be a reboot of Scarface, EW reports. The gangster film appeared on-screen in 1932 by Howard Hawks (based on the 1930 novel of the same name), and then famously remade by Brian De Palma in 1983 with Oliver Stone as screenwriter. The latest version of Scarface will be written by Joel and Ethan Coen (No Country for Old Men, Fargo)
