Universal and Illumination Schedule Movies on July 4th Weekends Until 2023

Movie studios plan so far in advance these days that it's almost harder to keep up excitement for the current slate of releases, rather than what's to come. Regardless, these are the days and times of the entertainment industry that we live in, and Universal Pictures and Illuminations Entertainment are keeping pace with studios like Disney ad Warner Bros. with a bold schedule of release dates.
The Wrap reports that Universal and Illumination have secured July 4th weekend release dates stretching from 2019 until 2023.
Only one of the scheduled films is known at this time: Minions 2, which will be released on July 3, 2020. The other release dates are as follows:
- July 3, 2019 - Untitled Universal Movie
- July 1, 2020 - Untitled Universal Movie
- July 3, 2020 - Minions 2 (Illumination)
- July 2, 2021 - Untitled Universal Movie
- June 30, 2023 - Untitled Illumination Movie
