Before she passed away, Carrie Fisher recorded voice work for two upcoming episodes of Family Guy, which will air in the show's forthcoming fifteenth season.

Variety got confirmation that the episodes are completed and will air in the 2017-2018 season.

Fisher has appeared in 20 episodes since 2005, playing Peter Griffin's supervisor Angela. Her most recent episode aired in January.

Seth MacFarlane, the show's creator and the voice of Peter, tweeted yesterday, "Carrie Fisher was smart, funny, talented, surprising, and always a hell of a fun time to be around. Family Guy will miss her immensely."

There is no expected airdate yet for Fisher's episodes, and MacFarlane didn't respond to inquiries about whether Fisher's character would get some kind of onscreen acknowledgment or sendoff.

Besides Family Guy, Fisher has an episode of the Channel 4/Amazon comedy series called Catastrophe waiting in the wings and of course has already completed her work on next year's Star Wars: Episode VIII.
