The first day of any job can be a nerve-wracking experience. Whether you're joining a new field or signing up for a new profession, the first-day jitters are nearly impossible to ignore, and actors are not exception to the rule. Stepping foot onto a new set can be a daunting experience, but most stars don't have to worry about Sith Lords sneaking up on them. When it came to Diego Luna's first day on Rouge One: A Star Wars Story, the actor had to contend with one of the most fearsome villains in pop culture history.

If that's not a welcome, then really - what is?

During a recent interview with Good Morning America, Luna took time to talk about Rogue One and recalled his terrifying first day on set.

"I arrived to London, and the producer goes like, 'Oh, Gareth [Edwards, the director], go meet him. He's doing a camera test. I arrive, and he's like, 'We're going to have so much fun.' And he's in front of a monitor, and I start listening [and hear Darth Vader breathing]," he said.

"And I just went like, 'Oh no, oh no," and I could see Gareth face - he had the same expression, you know? We suddenly went to 6-year-old kids, and we turn around and there he is, Darth."

Luna continued to explain how the chilling run-in eventually ended. "He's [Darth Vader] like there [breathing] and then asks, 'Should I come in from the left or the right?' Like, 'Oh, it's over!'"

This is not the first time Luna has talked about his first encounter with Darth Vader. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Luna admitted he felt more starstruck than scared by the ordeal.

"I went to a camera test before we even started filming, and [Gareth] was doing a camera test with Darth [Vader]," Luna said. "I heard the sound and I was just like, 'Oh my god.'I freezed, and I couldn't react, move, or say anything intelligent. I was just like, 'Oh, nice to meet you.' And there he was - Darth Vader. It can't get any better."
